Red Dragon Window Cleaning are committed to health and safety in the workplace and are constantly monitoring, reviewing and improving our procedures to reduce any possible hazards that may arise.
We are well aware of our legal obligations and the legislation which applies to us. We regard safety as the most important factor within our business. Where necessary a full and comprehensive risk assessment is carried out; all access equipment is checked and records kept in accordance with the Work at Height Regulations 2005. We operate a Ladder Minimisation Policy.
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 (as amended)
How do they affect you?
The Work at Height Regulations 2005 apply to all work at height where there is a risk of a fall liable to cause personal injury. They place duties on employers, the self-employed, and any person who controls the work of others (e.g. facilities managers or building owners who may contract others to work at height) to the extent they control the work.
